EU Commits $290 Million to GAVI, Aiming to Vaccinate 500 Million Children by 2030

EU chief Ursula von der Leyen pledges $290 million to GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance—co-founded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation—in a bid to "vaccinate 500 million children by 2030".
