William R. Hincy: “Some people run from their demons; others sit down and have cocktails with theirs.” William R. Hincy is a man who does and writes about the latter. Having become a writer after deciding it was the only sensible thing for a problem drinker to do, Hincy aspires to use literature to connect society on an emotional level through characters who no longer create messes but have instead become the mess. Between rounds, Hincy has won 3 American Fiction Awards and an International Book Award, and his personal anthology of short fiction WITHOUT EXPIRATION was named one of the Best Books of 2020 by Kirkus Reviews. He now lives outside Los Angeles with his wife and kids, having found solace in the notion that the only things sacred are self and whiskey-winged interludes.

Niles Reddick’s newest collection Reading the Coffee Grounds and Other Stories was released in August 2018 and has been nominated for the Story Prize, an IPPY, and a PEN-Malamud. His collection Road Kill Art and Other Oddities was a finalist for an Eppie award, his novel Lead Me Home was a national finalist for a ForeWord Award, a finalist in the Georgia Author of the Year award, and a nominee for an IPPY award. His novel Drifting Too Far from the Shore was nominated for a Foreword Award, a Pen-Faulkner award, and a Pulitzer. His work has appeared in seventeen collections and has been featured in over 300 literary magazines and journals in over 21 countries. He works for the University of Memphis-Lambuth in Jackson, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife Michelle, and two children, Audrey and Nicholas.
