The Book of Lamentations reminds us that God is sovereign, holy, and just, yet His steadfast love and grace endure even in times of judgment and suffering. As we begin a new year, we are called to reflect on our lives, repent of sin, and place our hope in the Lord's mercies, which are new every morning.
