This episode also began the initial coverage of the murder of Brian Thompson, the former CEO of UnitedHealthcare who was shot dead by a hooded and masked assassin on the morning of December 4th, 2024.
In this first part of a three-episode series, Brian O’Shea gives an overview of how the murder unfolded and begins to analyze why it happened…though on this day information was limited. The focus of this first part is his analysis of why he thinks this shooter had a surveillance team assisting him by tracking the movements of Brian Thompson in near-real time up until the moment he was shot. Based on Brian’s years of experience conducting hundreds of hours of surveillance in New York City and around the country, Brian concludes that there is either no way this shooter could have been working alone, or, at a minimum, he was able to track Thompson through technical surveillance, perhaps through Thompson Cell Phone.
