Johnson Doesn’t Have the Leadership to Survive as Speaker

President Trump put out a Truth Social post yesterday backing Mike Johnson for House Speaker. But Trump didn’t really have much choice, now did he? President Trump and the American people can’t afford a protracted speaker fight that delays the implementation of the Trump agenda. Speaker Mike Johnson has shown himself to lack the leadership and spine necessary to lead the Republican Party in the House. Long term we need someone with vision and leadership that can unite the Republican Party in the House instead of making deals with Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats.
