Man arrested for trying to steal registers from metro Detroit ice cream shop

A man was arrested for trying to steal two cash registers from an ice cream shop overnight last week. According to police, Elias Caballero broke into the Custard Corner in Trenton on July 25. A neighbor saw him and ran out to confront him, and that's when police say he dropped one register and ran.
