When I arrived in Barcelona the first thought was to go and try some local tapas. I only later realised that Tapas is mostly a thing of Basque regions, Madrid, and Andalusia. In Barcelona you'll find instead plenty of "bodegas" which are old wine cellar converted into restaurants or bars, and yes, here you can find tapas, "raciones" and full meals.

In this video I made a list of a few "hole in the wall" places which are a must-try in Barcelona, small eateries full of charm and character, serving traditional Spanish tapas with an authentic taste. Note that one of this places (Bodega Manolo) was closed, but I left the position below in case you wanted to visit it.
