Gen 30 - The “baby wars”, between Rachel and Leah. The desperation in Rachel's words is evident.

Gen 30:43
So the man became exceedingly prosperous, and had large flocks and female and male servants and camels and donkeys.

Elohim will one way or another honor those who trust and obey Him and that's what happened here. And Laban is not going to like it, but that's how it worked out. There was really nothing supernatural about what Jacob did, all he did was what Elohim told him, out of obedience he's greatly blessed.
Gen 30:1
Now when Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, she became jealous of her sister; and she said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I die.”
Gen 30:2
Then Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

This chapter this is the account of what I termed the “baby wars”, between Rachel and Leah. The desperation in Rachel's words is evident, if she does not bear children, she does not feel like she has a reason for living. In
Jacob's response, he is misunderstanding her plea. This is a male thing, when your wife is upset and she's verbalizing what has upset her, the first thing a husband thinks is what did I do, Hahaha, so true!! why is she mad at me, I'm doing everything I can, I've tried to fix this I'm doing what I can. You want babies, I'm doing what I can, what more do you want from me. He has totally missed the boat here, I've been there myself, his maleness is showing here. Rachel's just venting about her distress about not having children, that's what she's doing, but Jacob thinks she's mad at him and griping at him. He says it's out of my hands, I'm not Elohim, I can't help you any more than I’m doing.

Gen 30:14
Now in the days of wheat harvest Reuben went and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them to his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son’s mandrakes.”
Gen 30:15
But she said to her, “Is it a small matter for you to take my husband? And would you take my son’s mandrakes also?” So Rachel said, “Therefore he may lie with you tonight in return for your son’s mandrakes.”

The Hebrew term for this fruit is Dudaim, it's been identified as Madragora officinarum; which grows wild in the fields. A chemical analysis of this fruit shows that it contains purgative and narcotic substances. It had widespread medicinal use of ancient times and was thought to have had aphrodisiac powers, okay, turn him on. Aphrodite the Greek goddess of love beauty and sex was given the term heMandragatori it means a lady of the Mandrake. This is also mentioned in the song of songs.

Song 7:13
“The mandrakes have given forth fragrance; And over our doors are all
choice fruits, Both new and old, Which I have saved up for you, my beloved.

Well, Rachel is probably upset at Leah’s attempts to seduce their husband by using this fruit as some kind of an aphrodisiac and the battle, I mean, these two women are sisters, and they are sister wives, so there's going to be some conflict there. I believe Rachel giving her husband to Leah was inevitable anyway since you know, she was his wife also. This way, Rachel is going to share in her edge by getting some of the fruit too, so she wants some of that also. It just appears to be more pettiness between these two.
