The first captured Leopard 2 tank has been shown from the inside

Footage of a detailed inspection and repair of a German Leopard 2A5 tank abandoned by the AFU near Avdeevka, captured by Russian fighters and taken to our rear for repair has been published.

The tank hit an anti-tank mine, tore the track and lost mobility. Then it was attacked by FPV drones, there was a fire of electrical wiring, the crew emergency left the vehicle. Before evacuation we checked it for mines and other surprises, then we knocked down the second caterpillar belt with a directed explosion to facilitate towing and the BREM dragged the 65-tonne tank to the rear.

Said the commander of the repair platoon with the call sign Pero.

Our repairmen found no significant damage on the Leopard. Within a few days, burnt-out sections of electrical wiring and tracks will be replaced and the repaired tank will be on its way to Russia.
