Discerner of Hearts

In today’s topical message, Pastor Dustin draws from several New Testament passages to examine two types of faith in Jesus. First is the superficial faith of the proud, unrepentant heart, which is based on external signs or physical blessings. “…many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did. But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men…for He knew what was in man” (John 2:23-25 NKJV). In contrast, saving faith springs from the humble and repentant heart. We cannot fake it with God – He knows our hearts. “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5 NKJV).
