SINGAPORE
Singapore Dim Sum restaurants are popular both among locals and tourists who visit this city. Some of these restaurants can be fancy and pretty expensive; however, Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant is an alternative, cheaper option, who in addition, is also known as one of the oldest and more authentic Dim Sum in Singapore.

At the entry you are presented with an extensive menu showcased on a large board. Different items priced between 2 to 6 Singapore Dollars are available, and the temptation of ordering one of each thing is definitely there. I managed to hold myself, and went for the most intriguing stuff my brain could detect: salted egg yolk buns and toasts, drunken chicken, silk tofu, xiao long bao, just to name a few. Having fun trying new stuff each time is part of the reason why I keep going to Dim Sum restaurants; it never gets boring.
