Solo Dining in Singapore: Maxwell Food Centre 🇸🇬

Maxwell Food Centre is very central hawker centre in Singapore, crowded with tourists and locals alike. Here you can find some of the most famous and heavily publicised hawker stalls in Singapore, some of which are even in the Michelin Guide, such as Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice. I came here pretty late in the afternoon, and unfortunately most of the stall I wanted to visit had closed or sold out already. This did not prevent me from enjoying a solo dining experience and be grateful about life.

In this Singapore food vlog we therefore try:
an Oyster Cake, at Maxwell Fuzhou Oyster Cake; this is a disappearing snack in Singapore;
A Nyonya Laksa, the famous Singaporean noodle soup originating in the Peranakan cuisine;
An awesome plate of Duck and Rice;
A Chinese Dessert (Tong Sui).
