Israeli Forces Raid Hospital, Putting “Last Major Health Facility In North Gaza Out Of Service”

Israeli forces raided the "last functioning hospital" in northern Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital and allegedly ordered patients to evacuate, said health ministry officials in Gaza. According to eyewitnesses, Israeli troops asked patients and staff to remove their clothing. They are also accused of setting a part of the site on fire. Kamal Adwan Hospital authorities said their surgical departments, laboratory, maintenance, and emergency unit were charred. The IDF has denied charges, saying no connection between fire and troops’ activity was found. The IDF said that the soldiers acted on intel regarding the presence of terrorist infrastructure and operatives in the Hamas terrorist stronghold Kamal Adwan Hospital. Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation (WHO) said that the raid had put the last major health facility in north Gaza out of service while 60 health workers and 25 critical condition patients remain in hospital.
