Three People Set On Fire When Someone At The Bar Gets A Flaming Drink And Things Go Wrong

Posted • December 30, 2024: Binghamton, N.Y. — 3 people suffered injuries from alcohol burns on Friday night, that occurred while at Courtside Bar & Grill in the City of Binghamton. This is according to a statement from the City of Binghamton Police Department. The report reads that around 10:45 pm on Friday, December 27th BPD arrived at Courtside Bar & Grill to find 3 people suffering from burn-related injuries. The police report said that a 20-year-old was served a drink that had been lit on fire before being served. The female being served the drink suffered serious injuries from it combusting, causing a large spurt of fire. She was rushed to a local hospital for immediate treatment and then transferred to Upstate Medical in Syracuse.

Two other people were treated by medics at the scene according to the police report. The Binghamton Police Department charged 28-year-old Camlyn Lyons of Vestal with unlawful sale of alcohol to a person under the age of 21.
