This is the trailer from my new upcoming documentary "The biggest tree ever climbed in Oregon"
This is a raw and mostly un edited clips from the movie.
This is about a tree that is without a doubt the biggest tree ever climbed by a professional climber. This footage was taken with an old Panasonic AG-170 19. It was the top of the line camera for it's time. The tapes were in storage for over 20 years so there is a loss of quality but it's not bad. (George) has many years of experience at climbing and setting up trees to be pulled. He told me that without a doubt it was the biggest tree he had ever rigged. This tree was one of the first trees to go because it hanging back into the rest of the trees to be fell. We had these two trees to take out before we could finish the unit. I lost count of how many trees I pulled but there was a lot. From my standpoint on the hill of all the trees I pulled I only seen the tops of 5 of the trees. So you see my job was kind of a dull one but I loved the sound of those trees crashing to the ground. The first tree measured at over 300 feet tall and if I remember right it was 14 foot on the stump. Stay tuned....
