The Manger and Mystery of Christ

Welcome back Jim as he closes out the Christmas season by reviewing the often referred to ‘mystery’ of Jesus and His mission.
There are some wonderful insights today that tie in references and practices from the Old Testament that pointed to Jesus, and Jim points some of them out that God put in advance for all to recognize the Messiah.
But after His coming, what then? In what way does that help us, and benefit our lives? Today Jim tries to answer these questions as he tackles “The Manger and Mystery of Christ”

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
