Three brief statements encapsulate the 2025 charge for members and guests of Impact Church of The Woodlands:
1) Intentional to make disciples of Christ. Matthew 28:19-20

A life that brings glory to Jesus Christ requires intentionality. Causal living will not increase the intimacy necessary for sanctification. Only constant action that challenges the Christian to pursue holiness will compel the body of believers to make disciples. In the basic sense, a disciple is a “follower” or “learner.” In the New Testament, twelve disciples are selected to forsake the world’s passions, follow Christs example, and compel others to do the same. By following the Messiah, the disciples were making an impact for time and eternity. One example of the expectations of Christs followers appears in Matthew’s gospel:
And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets
and followed Him (Matthew 4:19-20).

Individuals called to discipleship must align their lives with the words of scripture. Then vigorously live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Challenges with discipleship are inevitable, but victory is guaranteed (cf. Proverbs 24:16; Philippians 4:13).
