LORD Have MERCY - I’m Weary and Broken - Spoken Poetry

This poem sends forth a desperate plea to God for mercy while suffering in the depths of a bitter struggle against sin. The Poet laments his physical hardships, but more than that, he raises up a prayerful lament for his sin and the struggle against temptation. As he pleads to the Lord Jesus for rescue, bodily and spiritually, he recognizes he has received much mercy. Jesus Christ paid mankind’s debt for sin, and all who trust Him will receive mercy and be forgiven for their sin past, present and future.
