Suddenly noticed the couple on my right was just looking at me throughout my exchange with the maiter d. Just after started on my food, the couple on my immediate right got up to leave. But they had just had some bread. Maybe they didn't want to wait for their main course (shrugs).

I also noticed that the new patrons on the far right had already left; perhaps to another table because they were a big crowd. But, before long, the table was filled with a new set of customers.

Anyway, now i have all the food that I ordered on my table.
