Donald Trump to Fire Federal Employees Who Don't End Work From Home | Firstpost America

US President-Elect Donald Trump has announced that he will end work from home opportunities for all federal employees. Trump said that if the employees do not return to office, then he would remove them from their roles. Currently, there are about 2.3 million federal employees in the United States with many of them undertaking work from home. Remote work is guaranteed for several thousands of employees by the labour unions. Trump’s comments come a month after DOGE duo Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy also said that they would ask all federal employees to return to work in Washington once Donald Trump assumes office in January 2025.
