Birmingham's historic chocolatier has been stripped of its royal coat of arms by order ofKingCharles

Famous chocolate maker Cadburry (Birmingham) and companies of the Unilever group with the trademark (U) were deprived of having the royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom by order of King Charles III.

This is the first time since the death of Queen Elizabeth II that two brands have been excluded from the list of companies allowed to use the crown of this country by the order of the highest British royal authority.

According to AFP, this decision was taken following the activities of the campaign for Ukraine (B4UKRAINE) in the UK. This campaign tries to isolate the companies that are still present in Russia despite the war. Back in 1854, the British king expressed regret and disappointment with this decision.
