Peace Through Strength is not a new strategy; it has existed since the Roman Empire. President-elect Donald Trump has revived the popular phrase. The ASCF's December webinar discusses the history of "Peace Through Strength" and how Trump may differ from Reagan and the Cold War. In an age of rising superpowers, new economic alliances, and autocratic leaders' desire to revive old empires, the policy of Peace Through Strength remains as relevant as ever.
Questions posed in this webinar contain thoughts on nuclear deterrence, cyber and space warfare, and our divided nation and political will to build a strong military.

Join us for the next Webinar on January 15th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. We will kick off the New Year by addressing the strategies of Peace Through Strength line by line from the ASCF's Senate Concurrent Resolution 15. The first topic will address National Preparedness: Combat readiness and the future of drones and cyberwarfare.

The American Security Council Foundation was founded in 1958. It successfully started a Coalition of Peace Through Strength with the bipartisan support of over 230 members of Congress and over 160 national organizations and individuals. One of those members was President Ronald Reagan. Reagan thanked the ASCF for its work on a "Peace Through Strength" strategy that helped end the Cold War. The ASCF is an educational, nonpartisan, non-profit 501(c)(3). Please help continue our mission by donating at www.ascf.us/donate/.
