Before we dive into the world of concepts and explanations of Kabbalah wisdom, we need to understand that we will come across all kinds of new concepts that sound "obscure" and sometimes unnecessary. The words usually touch the material world, but their meaning is more profound in the spiritual world, and they describe the world of roots that are hidden from us. Words such as spheres, faces, worlds, pairing, straight light – or yashar, returning light – or chozer, tariag, and many other words will be repeated during the entire study, but in fact, there is nothing from the outside, and all these are only within us.
Kabbalah can be thought of as the 'physics' of the spiritual realm. It guides us through a gradual and patient descent of higher powers from the spiritual world to the material world, teaching us the value of patience. Kabbalists, who study this process, reveal that the spiritual origin of what we perceive as 'light' is the Creator's boundless desire to fill all creatures with love and abundance.
