Lord of the Rings FLOP! War of the Rohirrim Leaves Theatres in SHAME!

2024 was particularly mean to The Lord of the Rings franchise. Season 2 of The Rings of Power was an abomination, but Warner Bros and the Peter Jackson camp releasing The War of the Rohirrim was particularly disappointing.

It could have been good. It could have laid the ground work for other animated Tolkien tales. But it was an embarrassment forced to flee to streaming in 14 days after its lethargic release.

A film that cost $30 Million in The Lord of the Rings universe somehow losing money is insane, but it happened.
