This time i called the waiter and he said, "one minute". In the meantime, the patrons on our left had finished their main course and chatting away. The customers whom were two tables on my right have already left.

Fifteen minutes later the maître d came to bring my main course without my soup which was supposed to be before the main course. The maître d behaved like this was the first time i ordered the soup. The waiter was not seen anywhere.

While waiting for the soup, a new set of customers filled up the table on our right. And that's a good ten minutes after i told the maître d that i wanted my soup. By the time the soup was brought to me, i was no longer in a pleasant mood to the maître d.
