Trump Says "Illegal" Chinese Troops Operate the Panama Canal | Firstpost America

Donald Trump aimed at Canada and Panama on Christmas Day. In a string of posts Trump again called Trudeau the Governor of Canada while also naming Kevin Mario Cabrera as the next US Ambassador to Panama. While speaking about Panama, Donald Trump wrote that Chinese troops were illegally in the country and were operating the Panama Canal. This comes just days after Trump asked Panama to give control of the canal back to the United States, forcing Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino to clarify that Panama was a sovereign nation and was not influenced by any foreign country or entity. Meanwhile, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has reiterated her support for Panama and said that she stands by the people of Panama.
