Tensions between India and Canada are worsening. In the latest, India's Enforcement Directorate has linked at least 260 Canadian colleges and Universities to the trafficking of Indians across the border to the United States. India's central agency suspects these Canadian colleges to be involved in a money laundering case linked to trafficking illegal Indian migrants from Canada to the US. The investigation is part of a probe into the death of an Indian family that was attempting to cross over to the US from Canada in 2022 illegally.
