This is an episode in the ongoing series What is the Bible where we look at the history and composition of the Chirstian Bible. Here we are taking a brief overview of the Histories of the Old Testament.
The Histories of the Old Testament include the following books: Joshua, Judges, Samuel (1&2), Kings (1&2), Chronicles (1&2), Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther.
The Histories cover the time period of the Hebrews entering the Promised Land (aka Canaan), becoming a unified nation (Israel), two nations (the divided nations of Judah and Israel), and ends with the Babylonian and Persian exile.
