Carnivore Waffles, AKA Chaffles

The misses has adhered to a carnivore diet for a year now, and she eagerly experiments with new recipes as she discovers them. She came across this specific recipe while watching @ChrisCookingNashville discuss chaffles. While some of her carnivore meals have been enjoyable, others have fallen short of her expectations. Nevertheless, these chaffles turned out to be quite delightful. Therefore, if you are seeking carnivore breakfast alternatives, you might want to consider trying this recipe.

Ingredients:
- 4 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp egg white powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda

Instructions:
Begin by placing the softened cream cheese in a bowl and blending it to achieve an even temperature. Gradually incorporate the gelatin into the cream cheese while continuing to blend to prevent clumping. Next, add the egg white and blend until fully combined. Then, introduce the egg and mix for 3 to 4 minutes to ensure thorough incorporation; the mixture should resemble a thick pancake batter.

Once your waffle maker is preheated, add the baking soda and mix for 30 seconds. Allow the mixture to rest for about a minute while you grease the waffle maker. Pour the mixture into the waffle maker, spreading it evenly. Cooking time may vary depending on your appliance; for the smaller model we used, we initially set it for 5 minutes, which was insufficient, so we extended it to 8 minutes, which yielded the desired result.

We hope you enjoy this recipe! Slainte!
