Maybe I'll spin poi in the dark

Two more songs, I am just playing my playlist redoing 'The Chillout Album' that I listened to a million time when I was young and into my later years as well, just missing some songs that weren't available on spotify, or that I didn't like.

Six Underground - Sneaker Pimps
Praise You - Fatboy Slim

Crazy songs for Christmas, one would think, and it would be understandable, because one is dark and unforgiving, and one is talking about giving praise to his baby. Usually that would refer to a person, but today, it happens to be what I listened to next on the playlist, and instead of not posting it I saw how it really can be related to Christmas in a very meaningful way. Six Underground is a song about hopelessness, and it just so happens that today, on Christmas Day (still where I am), there is a particular Baby that we should give praise to, who gives us all the hope we need, and has so much more after that, so bountifully. Hope that is realized so tangibly by difficult changes that couldn't be made by you or myself individually. So it all worked out, to the glory of God. I would say 'phew' but I am kind of getting used to him saving the day. He had this planned looong before He was born. Longer than long. Longer than time. In timeless eternity so blessedly forever to be all that is forever gracious and loving endlessly. All we have to do is call out to Him and ask to be set free, to lead us and surpass our will, to make us be stronger than we ever could be.
