Incredible HOKKIEN Street Food of Penang, Malaysia 🇲🇾

My last street food tour in Penang focuses on Hokkien food, a cuisine which migrants from South East China brought all over Asia many centuries ago. In Penang (Malaysia), right in the centre of Georgetown, there is Chulia Street, which buzzes with street food carts and hungry adventurers from 4 PM throughout the evening. Many of these street food stalls sell traditional Hokkien foods, blending Chinese and Malaysian cooking styles.

In this food vlog I went to try some yummy Hokkien dishes including Hokkien Char, the famous Char Kway Teow with duck egg, and Lor Bak. Part of the enjoyment was for me sitting down behind the stalls and observing the street food scene unfolding: busy sellers impressing people with their giant charcoal-fired pans, the smell of roasting sausages, locals getting their most beloved meals.

This is a travel for food channel and I enjoy eating street food around the world! Eating street food from different countries is what keeps me alive :D
