Eisenhower's Warning About the Scientific Technological Elite

Most are probably familiar with Eisenhower's warning about the Military Industrial Complex in his 1961 Presidential farewell address. Few seem to be aware that Eisenhower immediately followed that warning with an equally serious warning about the rise of what he dubbed "the scientific-technological elite." As we can plainly see, these warnings were entirely ignored. Over six decades later we all see everything President Eisenhower warned us about has just about completely destroyed our country from within.
