Yet another example of why I don't like CDPRs idea of how gigs should be experienced. If an area is going to be utilized multiple times for various types of gameplay events, they shouldn't have them conflict or overlap.

If the player wanted to show up to the marina to join Kerry on his managers boat, have the map temporarily freeze the ability to trigger the gig given by Dino, if it hadn't already been completed. It totally shreds the immersion when you arrive at the spot to wait for Kerry, only to have Dino shove his oar in with a call to go do some boring job to hack a terminal.

Once Kerry has sunken the boat and dropped the player off afterwards, lift the freeze on the nearby gig and let the player go back to it at their leisure.

Had a similarly stupid experience back in the Elder Scrolls series, mostly in Oblivion. I'd pick up the occasional quest that would take you to speak to an NPC in another city, but as soon as you arrived there would likely be another NPC unrelated to what you were doing that would lock onto you and run up to force a conversation.

"I don't know you, but you have to drop what you're doing and GO DO THIS THING INSTEAD!"

And I'm sitting there thinking, "Why? I'm doing my own thing right now, but now there's an entry to a quest in my journal that I didn't ask for and not interested in doing!"

Come on developers. Do better.
