Christmas: From Different Eyes

Christmastime! And time for our Christmas Eve service here at High Forest.
But this year, Josh took our audience a different direction than most would expect. Instead of a standard Christmas service, with the traditional message, Josh wanted everyone to instead try to learn from the perspectives of those involved in that incredible night.
This evening, we heard from the perspectives of a little shepherd boy, who met this new special baby. We heard from Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, and his thoughts on these events. We heard from an elderly shepherd man, who would have considered himself the last to be given such a great honor of revelation, and lastly we heard the perspective of Jesus Himself, as he reflects on the aspects of that night, and what His birth ultimately lead to.
We hope you enjoy the insight gained form looking at Christmas “From Different Eyes”

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help!
Please watch our archive of messages on a variety of topics. Please like and share our content with others that can benefit from what God has inspired our array of speakers to bring to the body.
Most importantly, be sure you are secure in your relationship with God and Christ Jesus. It is so simple. Do not wait. Tomorrow may be too late…
