Fasting E1
10 commandments of God.

1. I am the Lord your God, you shall have no other gods before me;

2. You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them, nor serve them;

3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain;

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy; six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God;

5. Honor your father and mother, so that it may go well with you and you may live long on the earth;
6. Do not murder;
7. Do not commit adultery;
8. Do not steal;
9. Do not bear false witness against your neighbor;
10. Do not covet anything that belongs to someone else.
The two main commandments of God:
1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind (Luke 10:27).
2. Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39).
