When King Solomon dedicated the first Temple in 957 BCE, the musicians praised YEHOVAH with these words "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever." As they sang this song, the glory of YEHOVAH filled the house and the priests could not enter the building. After seeing the glory, the people bowed face down to the ground and repeated these same words "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever."
