Sony Secures a Kadokawa Takeover! Anime and FromSoftware in DANGER!

Sony just acquired a 10% stake in Kadokawa. After weeks of speculation and talk of a full-blown takeover, this is a slow roll strategy to eventually secure the entire company, but right now influence from the outside. It's a significant enough stake to make some real changes, but not enough to fully take anything completely under their wing.

Known as a huge player in the Anime/Manga space, Kadokawa is the last hurdle for Sony to clear to essentially control the whole industry. On the gaming front, FromSoftware now has an even closer relationship with the PlayStation, meaning preferential treatment and perhaps Bloodborne 2?
