Our Bible study in the Book of Revelation continues with Revelation 4-5. Upon sending the final letter to the seven churches named in Revelation 2 and 3, John looked up and beheld “a door [that] was opened in heaven” (Revelation 4:1a). Seeing the door, he heard a voice like the blast of a trumpet, that said, “Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter” (Revelation 4:1b).
