My Thoughts on the Final Budget Bill

We dodged a bullet with a free debt limit increase, but we still have a lot to fight for. I offer my thoughts on the final budget bill that increased spending. The Trump administration is promising $2.5 trillion in spending cuts over 10 years in exchange for about 8 months of debt limit suspension. I explain under what perimeters that would work. The bottom line is that we need to hear specifics and the thrust of the plan should be transformational downsizing of government. We must not make this 100% about taxes again, with spending as a side point just to pretend to offset the deficit effects.
