A suspected member of a terrorist outfit in the Kashmir Valley, planning an attempt to exfiltrate into Bangladesh under the commands of his handlers, was arrested from West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district on Sunday in a joint operation conducted by West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir police, sources said.

Javed Munshi, suspected to be a member of the outlawed ‘Tehreek-e-Mujahideen’ outfit in the Kashmir Valley, was picked up from near Canning Hospital by a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Bengal Police, sources further added.
