Man Who Drove Truck Into Texas Mall Killed By Police

Authorities in Texas say the driver of a pickup truck who took police on a highspeed chase, drove his vehicle through the doors of a JCPenney store and injured five people.
That’s when he got into a shootout with police and was shot and killed.
Sgt. Bryan Washko of the Texas Department of Public Safety says the truck crashed into the department store in Killeen, which is about 68 miles north of Austin, around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The man then continued driving through the store, hitting people as he went. The five victims were treated at local hospitals.
