Level scaling in survival mode is weird. Whether enemy attack patterns are avoidable matters more than what level the enemy is. An enemy could be level 100, as long as it doesn't regain health and all its attacks are avoidable, it may as well be level 1 and skip 20 minutes on the wave spawn timer.

Meanwhile enemies that abruptly attack with no warning and deal incredible short-range damage may as well be level 200 since you can go from full health to dead in one second.

00:00=wave 2 starts
12:20=field boss
14:30=useless stat check
15:23=finally a better weapon
18:05=even better weapon

I could skip ahead and loot top tier heavy armor, but I'm saving that for fighting the enemies in that same area so this game is still challenging.
