On this episode:
We are joined by Aboriginal Elder, Kerry White from the Narungga People in South Australia.

We are bypassing the mainstream ‘narrative’ and speaking straight with an Elder, who is on the ground, with her people. This is a fascinating interview, in which Kerry educates us on the differences between Aborigines and Indigenous, the definition of a mob and what a ‘tick-a-boxer’ refers to.

Kerry also speaks out against the proposed Indigenous Voice to Parliament and argues why it would be detrimental to Aboriginal people and the rest of the population more broadly.

Kerry resides in Port Pirie, where she has worked in a number of community roles, including the local Aboriginal Community Centre. She worked as a nurse in her early career and is a diabetes educator and case manager with Families SA.

Kerry also ran as a One Nation candidate in the South Australian electorate of Grey, one of the largest in the country.
