So today I have a very special guest and dear friend former Pittsburg Steeler placekicker Roy Gerela. Roy spent 11 seasons in the NFL, playing for Houston, Pittsburgh and San Dingo. He is most famous for his time with the Steelers, playing on three Super Bowl Championship teams and winning seven divisional titles.

He was a coach at his alumni New Mexico State. As an “Aggie” Kickers and Tight end Coach he is credited with guiding players like punter Brad Evans. Evans finished third in the conference in yards per punt with 41.8, ranking him sixth all-time in punting average in a single-season beating fellow Aggie Andy Kohls 1999 punting record.
Roy recently attended the 50 Year Super Bowl Steeler Celebration in Pittsburg and we hope to hear an update on that reunion.
