SCRIPTURE READING FOR TODAY
Gen 26:19-25

The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 26:22-24
The troublesome people of Gerrar came from Gerrar mountain & plain to hinder Isaac from successfully digging a well in the Gerrar valley. Isaac persevered through the challenges until he became victorious, digging-up a well that had no more contentions, which he named Rehoboth - a place of no contention. God only showed up to Isaac in Beersheba (where Abraham also had a God-encounter) after he came through (not before it) the contentions of the Gerrar people. Had he messed up during the challenges, Isaac may miss his God-moments. This was also the case with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

22 Abandoning that one, Isaac moved on and dug another well. This time there was no dispute over it, so Isaac named the place Rehoboth (which means “open space”), for he said, “At last the LORD has created enough space for us to prosper in this land.”
23 From there Isaac moved to Beersheba,
24 where the LORD appeared to him on the night of his arrival. “I am the God of your father, Abraham,” he said. “Do not be afraid, for I am with you and will bless you. I will multiply your descendants, and they will become a great nation. I will do this because of my promise to Abraham, my servant.”

Personal Supplication
Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, help me build up resilience to out-pace the enemy in Jesus name! James 4:7

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Weekly Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, And under his wings shalt I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee throughout this week in Jesus' name!

Only with my eyes shalt I behold And see the wicked receive their rewards. Because I have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!

JESUS IS LORD!
