Hiking Phoenix Sonoran Preserve

Hunting for saguaro along Cave Creek, Apache Wash Trail, Badger Brawl Trail, Cliff Walk Trail and Esplanade Trail in the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve.

From the Maricopa-Hawes Trailhead on Bush Highway, I hiked a loop of Saguaro Trail #50, Riverview, and Twisted Sister to the old mine shaft. I had to skip Big Sister because that trail is one-way, downhill. As elsewhere in the Hawes Trail System great views of Red Mountain!
