Faraday Cage

In 1836, scientist Michael Faraday invented the Faraday Cage. A Faraday Cage offers protection to electronic devices in the event of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). An EMP can occur by natural events like a solar flare, or intentional attacks like a nuclear explosion. EMPs are extremely damaging to electronic devices.
