Performance Excavations are a unique and novel approach to investigating the paranormal. Using his skill as an actor and experience as an archaeologist to engage the manifestations of many locations.

- Bio John Sabol is a professional archaeologist/anthropologist (MA) and sociologist/historian (BA) with field experience dating back to 1969 (archaeological excavations, Winchester, England; ethnographic fieldwork, Oaxaca, Mexico 1971). John has published 64 books relative to his fieldwork experience and methodological approach called ‘Performance Excavations’, and his fieldwork at haunted ruins in Europe, Canada, The United States, and Mexico. He has spoken at many Theoretical Archaeological Conferences both in the USA and in the UK, as well as at professional conferences in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Scotland, Canada, and Mexico. He is also a professionally trained actor, and has appeared in more than 30 major motion pictures (Dune 1984, Rambo, Conan the Destroyer, and James Bond’s “License to Kill”, among others). He is currently the ‘Haunted History’ tour Director at the Bedford Springs Resort and Spa Complex in Bedford, Pennsylvania (USA) where he has been working on the ‘Staging Afterlife Project’ for the past seven years.
