Romeo Muller is the prolific writer behind many of the most beloved Christmas specials and characters. The Rankin/Bass specials Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, The Little Drummer Boy, and Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey are only a few of his many screenplays. He also wrote many Christmas stories for others as well as many non-Christmas stories.

Muller passed away in 1992. He'd recently started a production company and was preparing the screenplay for the Christmas special The Twelve Days of Christmas. The special was sponsored by KMart with tie-in promotions. Although Muller passed away before he completed the screenplay, he did complete a storybook.

When the 12 Days of Christmas was broadcast on NBC, this retrospective on Muller's life was part of that broadcast. It was also included on the home video release of the special.

In his memory we present this documentary so that people are aware of the many who made so many of our holidays brighter.

God bless and Merry Christmas!
