Romeo Muller's Noel The Happy Christmas Ornament Radio Broadcast

Romeo Muller is the prolific writer behind many of the most beloved Christmas specials and characters. The Rankin/Bass specials Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, The Little Drummer Boy, and Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey are only a few of his many screenplays. His first Christmas story, however, was his favorite, Noel the Happy Christmas Ornament.

Written in the 1950's, Muller often read this short story annually on radio every Christmas Eve. This broadcast is from WGHQ. He adapted it into an animated Christmas special that aired on NBC the Christmas he passed away.

In his memory we present Mr. Muller telling his story so that all may know the voice of the man behind Yukon Cornelius, the Island of Misfit Toys, Burgermeister Meisterburger, and all the others. Like Noel, Mr. Muller had a happiness.

God bless and Merry Christmas!
